Northwood in Wesley Chapel, FL 33544: One of Wesley Chapel's oldest CDD communities: Pasco County created the Northwood district in April 1995, and the homes date mostly from the mid-1990s and early 2000s around a clubhouse, pool, tennis and basketball courts on Big Sur Dr, just north of the Hillsborough county line. Built from 1995, Northwood has original owners who stayed and families who bought resales, so the same street can need a sitter and a companion visit. We are just down Bruce B. Downs in New Tampa, and Wesley Chapel is where most of our visits are.

Babysitting is in your home, for one family at a time, following your routine: dinner, homework, bath, the bedtime you set, and a tidy kitchen when you get back from Wiregrass. We never do drop-off or group care and we never bring children to our house, and that is what keeps a babysitter outside Florida's child-care licensing rules. Northwood is zoned for Denham Oaks Elementary, Dr. John Long Middle, Wiregrass Ranch High in Pasco County Schools.

Real-estate listings call Northwood gated, but the CDD states its roads are owned, maintained and operated by Pasco County, and neither the CDD nor the HOA site describes a gate. We confirm how to reach your street at the meet and greet. The clubhouse, pool and courts require a resident access card. The amenity center is resident-fob restricted, so if you want us at the pool or clubhouse with your kids or your dog, we need your fob. We do not take children to a pool without your written permission and your fob. In the rainy season the storms come through between 3 and 6 in the afternoon, so afternoon visits are timed around them. Date nights run $24/hr with a 2-hour minimum, $3/hr per additional child from the same family, and an overnight is $165/night.
