Our story, without the gloss
Wesley Chapel Care is run by Layla Perkins, the owner and the caregiver. She lives in Cross Creek, in New Tampa, and she is the person who comes to your door.
Her sister Lily runs Logan Square Care in Philadelphia; this is the Florida one, with the same free meet and greet, the same published prices, and the same refusal to send you someone you have not met.
The difference is where we are. Cross Creek is on the Hillsborough side of the county line, and Wesley Chapel, FL is where most of our visits are. We drive Bruce B. Downs every day. We know which gate wants a guest list and which one wants a code, which amenity centers need your fob, and that the two school districts on either side of County Line Road do not share a calendar.
Almost nobody in these subdivisions has a grandparent ten minutes away. That is the whole reason this business exists. This is the local person you would have called if you had grown up here.
This is not a franchise. No dispatcher, no call center, no territory manager: one household at a time.

What we will not do
- We will not send someone you have never met.
- We will not take a booking we cannot get to on time.
- We will not provide hands-on medical or personal care. That is a different kind of provider, and we will tell you who to call.
- We will not quote you a price on the phone that is not already on this website.
How we work
Trust first
Every new client starts with a free meet and greet at home. We meet the family and the pets and make sure we are the right fit before any booking.
A photo every visit
Pet visit, home watch, babysitting: you get a photo and a line about how it went before we are back in the car.
Gate and fob fluency
Guest lists, callbox codes, lockboxes and amenity fobs. We sort it out once at the meet and greet and it stays sorted.
Florida hours
Dog walks at sunrise and after seven in summer, visits timed around the afternoon storms, and no visits during a storm itself.
What we can say today
We publish a claim only when it is literally true. As screening, certifications and coverage come into force, they appear here and on the home page, not before.
