Service area, gates, prices and seasons

What areas do you serve?

Wesley Chapel, FL (33543, 33544 and 33545) first, and New Tampa (Tampa, FL 33647), where we live. We also reach Land O' Lakes, San Antonio, Zephyrhills and Lutz by drive time. We quote by drive time, not miles, and we say honestly if an address is outside it.

Are you in Wesley Chapel, Florida or Wesley Chapel, North Carolina?

Florida. Pasco County, along SR 54, SR 56 and Bruce B. Downs Blvd, with our own home just across the county line in New Tampa. We do not serve the Charlotte-area Wesley Chapel.

How much does a pet sitter cost in Wesley Chapel, FL?

$25/visit for a 30-minute visit, $32/visit for 60 minutes, $8/visit per additional pet, $95/night for an overnight in your home. Every price is on this website.

My community has a gate. How does that work?

If your gate is staffed (Esplanade at Wiregrass Ranch, The Ridge at Wiregrass Ranch), add us to your guest list before the first visit. If it is a callbox or code (Epperson, the gated villages at Watergrass), send the code once at the meet and greet. For apartments we follow the leasing office's guest policy. Each community page says which applies.

Can you take my kids or my dog to the community pool or clubhouse?

Only with your written permission and your amenity fob, because most amenity centers here are resident-fob restricted. Epperson's lagoon is ticketed separately: we accompany, you buy the passes.

Who can check on my house while I am up north for the winter?

We can. Home watch is $45/visit per visit, or $150/mo a month for weekly visits, with a photo report by email the same day as every visit. Monthly plans include hurricane prep and the post-storm check.

What do you do during hurricane season?

Before a storm we bring lanai and patio furniture in, clear the pool cage of loose items and photograph the fridge and freezer. After it, when roads are open, we walk the property with photos, note power and A/C status and any water intrusion. Wesley Chapel and New Tampa are inland and outside the coastal surge zones, but evacuation orders can still apply to manufactured homes and low-lying parcels, so check your address on your county's evacuation-zone finder and follow county orders. We never visit during the storm itself.

Are you available in the summer rainy season and around school breaks?

Yes, year-round. Dog walks move to sunrise and after seven in summer, visits are timed around the three-to-six storm window, and we book heaviest around school breaks and from Thanksgiving through April, so give us more notice in those windows.

Do you watch children at your own home?

No. All babysitting happens in your home, for one family at a time. We do not offer drop-off or group care, which is also what keeps babysitting outside Florida's child-care licensing rules.

How many kids can you watch at once?

All the children of one family. We do not combine families.

Can you drive my parent or my child somewhere?

We run errands, but we do not transport people in our vehicles. We can accompany a parent to an appointment when someone else drives, and we walk kids home when the school is walkable.

How do I book, and is the meet and greet really free?

Book on the site. Single visits go straight into the calendar; recurring schedules and monthly plans go in as requests and we confirm within four hours, and nothing is charged until we confirm. The meet and greet is free, about twenty minutes, at your house, with nothing to sign.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel with 24 hours' notice for a full refund. Under 24 hours, half the booked rate. No-shows are charged in full. If a county evacuation order or tropical storm warning covers the service address, we cancel without charge.

Screening, insurance and what we can say

Are you background checked and insured?

We do not claim Level 2 background screening today. If it clears through Florida's Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, it appears here that day and not before. We publish insurance details here only once coverage is bound, not before. Until then, the meet and greet is where you decide about us, and every reference we can give is yours to call.

Still have a question?

Book a free meet and greet and we will talk it through at your kitchen table, or send a message any time.
