How we do pet visits in Heritage Isles

Heritage Isles in New Tampa (Tampa, FL 33647): Heritage Isles is a golf community inside the Tampa city limits off Cross Creek Blvd in New Tampa, with 1,020 residences around a public 18-hole course, a resident pool and fitness center, an HOA, a CDD dating to 1997 and an Envera-monitored gate system since 2024. Family dogs in a golf community; leashed walks at sunrise and after 7 p.m. in summer, and daytime visits registered through the gate. We live a few streets over in Cross Creek, on the same side of the county line.

A pet visit here is a full 30 or 60 minutes: out, fed, watered, walked, played with, and a photo sent before we leave. In summer the walks are at sunrise and after 7 p.m., because the pavement on a New Tampa sidewalk at 2 p.m. in July is too hot for paws, and in the rainy season the storms come through between 3 and 6 in the afternoon, so afternoon visits are timed around them. A midday visit in summer is a shaded potty break and fresh water, not a long walk.

Since August 2024 both entrances (Grand Isle and Sandy Point) use an Envera gate system: residents use vehicle stickers or plate readers, visitors use the kiosk lane and must be on your MyEnvera guest list. Add us before the first visit; we confirm it at the meet and greet. The amenity center is resident-fob restricted, so if you want us at the pool or clubhouse with your kids or your dog, we need your fob. Overnights in your own home ($95/night) keep the routine intact when you travel, and multiple drop-ins on the same day cover a long workday.

How much does a pet sitter cost in Heritage Isles?

$25/visit for a 30-minute visit, $32/visit for a 60-minute visit, $8/visit per additional pet in the same household, and $95/night for an overnight in your home from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Every price is published on this site, and there is no quote that is not already here.

How do you get into Heritage Isles for a visit?

Since August 2024 both entrances (Grand Isle and Sandy Point) use an Envera gate system: residents use vehicle stickers or plate readers, visitors use the kiosk lane and must be on your MyEnvera guest list. Add us before the first visit; we confirm it at the meet and greet. For the door itself, a lockbox or a smart-lock code is easiest, and a key handed over at the meet and greet works too.

Can you do several visits a day for a puppy or a senior dog in Heritage Isles?

Yes. Book multiple drop-ins on the same day and space them however the dog needs. Puppies get extra potty breaks, and senior dogs get a slower pace and a check on water and comfort. Medication is given only as you have pre-portioned it.

Do you serve Wesley Chapel as well as New Tampa?

Yes. New Tampa (Tampa, FL 33647) is where we live and Wesley Chapel, FL is where most of our visits are, so Heritage Isles sits inside the area we cover every day.
