Cory Lake Isles, New Tampa (Tampa, FL)

What a visit looks like in Cory Lake Isles
Cory Lake Isles is the lake community off Cross Creek Blvd in New Tampa (Tampa, FL 33647), wholly inside the City of Tampa and run day to day by the Cory Lakes CDD, which dates to a 1991 city ordinance. Residents come in through a barcode lane; everyone else uses the visitors' gate, and the CDD contracts security patrols and lists a Morris Bridge Rd gatehouse phone. So before a first visit you tell the gate to expect us, and we confirm the arrangement at the free meet and greet. We are a few streets over in Cross Creek, so a 6:30 a.m. dog walk on the brick streets is easy for us.
The Beach Club at 10441 Cory Lake Dr is the center of it: two pools with a water slide and a hot tub, a white sand beach, a dock and boat ramp, a fitness center open around the clock, and lighted tennis, basketball and roller hockey courts, all for residents and their accompanied guests. Dogs are not allowed in the Beach Club, on the courts or in the playgrounds, and must be on a leash of 10 feet or shorter elsewhere, so our visits keep to your house, your street and the bike path. Summer walks go out at sunrise and after 7 p.m., around the pavement heat and the 3-to-6 p.m. storms.
Owners here travel, and a house on the water is worth checking while you are gone. Home watch is a scheduled walk-through with a same-day photo report: doors and windows, A/C running, water, lanai and dock, mail and packages. For families, the Hillsborough County school locator puts the Beach Club address in the Hunter's Green Elementary, Benito Middle and Wharton High zones; this is Hillsborough County Public Schools, a different district and calendar from Pasco across the county line, so check your own address if you sit near a zone boundary.
We live a few streets over in Cross Creek, on the same side of the county line.
Getting in
Residents use a barcode lane and everyone else uses the visitors' gate; the CDD contracts security patrol services and a virtual guard, and since the amenity policies the board adopted in July 2026 the published gatehouse phone is the Cross Creek gatehouse rather than the Morris Bridge one. Tell the gate to expect us before the first visit; we confirm the arrangement at the free meet and greet.
Amenities and who can use them
The amenity center is resident-fob restricted, so if you want us at the pool or clubhouse with your kids or your dog, we need your fob.

Cory Lake Isles questions
The gate, the schools, the amenities and what a visit looks like here.
How does a sitter get through the Cory Lake Isles gate?
Residents use a barcode lane and visitors use a separate visitors' gate; the CDD contracts security patrol services and publishes a gatehouse phone, which since the July 2026 amenity policies is the Cross Creek gatehouse rather than the Morris Bridge one. Before our first visit you let the gate know to expect us, and we confirm the arrangement at the free meet and greet so nobody is stuck at the gate.
Can you walk my dog to the Beach Club or the beach?
No. The CDD does not allow dogs in the Beach Club, on the courts or in the playground areas, and requires a leash of 10 feet or shorter where pets are allowed. Walks stay on your street and the bike path, early and after 7 p.m. in summer.
Which schools are Cory Lake Isles kids zoned for?
The Hillsborough County Public Schools locator assigns the Beach Club address to Hunter's Green Elementary, Benito Middle and Wharton High. Cory Lake Isles is in Hillsborough County, not Pasco, so its calendar follows Hillsborough. Boundaries can change and the community is large, so check your own address.
Do you offer home watch in Cory Lake Isles?
Yes. Home watch is a scheduled walk-through with a same-day photo report covering doors and windows, A/C, water, lanai and dock, and mail. We live in Cross Creek, so the schedule can flex around your travel dates, and a post-storm check is part of it for monthly clients.
