Plenty of The Ridge households are gone for a week or a month at a time, and a closed house in Florida still needs checking. We are just down Bruce B. Downs in New Tampa, and Wesley Chapel is where most of our visits are.
A home watch visit is a walk through the house with a checklist and a camera: doors and windows, the A/C running and the thermostat and humidity reading, the drain line, no water intrusion and no musty smell, no pests, the water heater and main valve, the electrical panel, faucets run and toilets flushed, the lanai and pool cage, mail and packages. The photo report is in your inbox the same day. We look, we report, and we call you if something is wrong. We are not home inspectors, and we do not guarantee the condition of the home.

Yes, when roads are open. The post-storm check is a walkthrough with photos, power and A/C status, a water-intrusion check and a debris report. It is included in monthly plans and available on its own. We do not enter during an evacuation order or the storm itself.
