Quail Hollow in Wesley Chapel, FL 33544: Acreage country inside Wesley Chapel: one- to three-acre wooded homesites along Quail Hollow Blvd and in Quail Hollow Pines, many zoned AR1 with no HOA and no CDD, plus the separate 114-home Fairways of Quail Hollow HOA subdivision near Quail Hollow Blvd and Old Pasco Rd. Two or three dogs is normal on an acre, sometimes with horses, plus a long driveway and a fenced yard that is not the whole parcel. Visits run longer here: a feeding round and a water check for the animals outside, then the walk, at sunrise or after 7 p.m. in summer. We are just down Bruce B. Downs in New Tampa, and Wesley Chapel is where most of our visits are.

A pet visit here is a full 30 or 60 minutes: out, fed, watered, walked, played with, and a photo sent before we leave. In summer the walks are at sunrise and after 7 p.m., because the pavement on a Wesley Chapel, FL sidewalk at 2 p.m. in July is too hot for paws, and in the rainy season the storms come through between 3 and 6 in the afternoon, so afternoon visits are timed around them. Overnights in your own home ($95/night) keep the routine intact when you travel, and multiple drop-ins on the same day cover a long workday.
