Persimmon Park is the small neighborhood tucked directly behind The Shops at Wiregrass and AdventHealth Wesley Chapel in Wesley Chapel, FL, off Bruce B. Downs Boulevard inside Wiregrass Ranch. ICI Homes opened it in 2020 and David Weekley builds the Cottage and Garden series here, with rear-loading garages and front porches on the Cottage lots. Neither builder lists a gate, so a visit is a matter of a key, a lockbox code or a smart lock, all of which we set up at the free meet and greet.

The tax bill has both an HOA line and a CDD line; the Property Appraiser lists the Wiregrass Community Development District on Persimmon Park parcels. The T-shaped pool with its cabanas and grilling area, the playground and the two dog parks, one for small dogs and one for large, belong to the whole neighborhood, not to one builder's series, and they are resident amenities. A sitter walking the kids to the pool goes on your access and under the neighborhood's guest rules. This is a dog-visit and after-school neighborhood. A weekday booking is a midday drop-in for a young dog, or pickup coverage that runs through homework and dinner until a parent is home from work.
