What a visit looks like in Palm Cove
Palm Cove is a Lennar, M/I Homes and Pulte subdivision in Wesley Chapel, FL, about a mile east of Wesley Chapel District Park near where Old Overpass Rd meets Boyette Rd. Building started in 2004, and it is a large neighborhood with no CDD line on the tax bill: the HOA runs the pool and splash pad on Mariners Harbour Dr, the cabana, the playgrounds and the dog parks. Since January 2023 Overpass Rd has run straight to its own I-75 interchange at Exit 282, four lanes to Old Pasco Rd on the west side and six lanes toward Boyette Rd on the east, which is the way in from the interstate now.
Most of our work in Palm Cove is school-day work: a dog walk while everyone is at work and school, an after-school sitter who can handle the bus stop and a stretch of homework. A summer pet visit is a sunrise or after-7 p.m. walk, because the pavement is too hot at noon and the afternoon storms come through. We are not from Palm Cove. We are just down Bruce B. Downs in New Tampa, close enough that a same-week meet and greet is normal.
Two things to know before a first visit. The pool and splash pad on Mariners Harbour Dr are HOA amenities, so a sitter taking the kids to swim goes as your guest under the HOA's rules, and we sort that out with you ahead of time. And Wesley Chapel District Park on Boyette Rd is the easy outing for a long afternoon: a playground and an inclusive playground, ball fields, soccer fields, tennis, basketball, volleyball and pickleball courts and a street hockey rink, open 7 days until 10 p.m.
We are just down Bruce B. Downs in New Tampa, and Wesley Chapel is where most of our visits are.

None of the sources we checked describe a gate at Palm Cove, but we have not confirmed it in person. Tell us how you reach your street and we confirm access at the free meet and greet.
Amenities and who can use them
The amenity center is resident-fob restricted, so if you want us at the pool or clubhouse with your kids or your dog, we need your fob.

Palm Cove questions
The gate, the schools, the amenities and what a visit looks like here.
Is Palm Cove gated, and do you need a code?
The sources we checked do not describe a gate at Palm Cove, and we have not verified one in person. At the free meet and greet you tell us how you get to your street, and we note it in your file.
Can a sitter take the kids to the Palm Cove pool or the splash pad?
Yes, as your guests and under the HOA's rules for the pool and splash pad on Mariners Harbour Dr. Tell us at the meet and greet whether you want water time in the visit. Wesley Chapel District Park on Boyette Rd is the other easy outing, with playgrounds, fields and courts.
Do you do homework help in Palm Cove?
Yes. Palm Cove is in Pasco County, so the school calendar and the after-school window are Pasco County Schools'. A homework-help visit is a sitter who runs the after-school hour: snack, the assignment list, reading, and a note to you on what got done and what did not.
What does the 2023 Overpass Road interchange change for a visit?
Reliability, mostly. Since January 2023 Overpass Rd connects directly to I-75 at Exit 282, four lanes west to Old Pasco Rd and six lanes east toward Boyette Rd, so a sitter arriving from New Tampa has a second way in when SR 54 is backed up.
